Dee Ann Roesel

School Climate Specialist

Dee Ann Roesel is a School Climate Specialist with First District RESA. She has over 25 years of combined experience with Mental Health and Education.

Her employment experience ranges from Mental Health, Public Health, Education, and Private Business Consulting. She is a consultant and trainer in multiple school systems throughout southeast Georgia. Her main areas of focus are school climate, PBIS, school safety, mental health, prevention, poverty training and awareness, leadership, and team-building.

 
Specialty areas include the following:
Classroom Management – SWIS Facilitator – Team Building – Leadership Development – 7 Habits of Highly Effective People-Communication Skills – Crisis Prevention and Intervention (De-escalation) – True Colors Personality Type (Teaching/Learning Styles) Assessment – Parent Involvement – Conflict Management – Bullying Prevention and Intervention – School Safety – Mentoring – Character Education/Life Skills Training – Developmental Asset Building – Poverty Simulation Training/Awareness – Certified Trauma Skilled Schools Specialist with the National Dropout Prevention Center –PBIS/School Climate related sessions.

Lindsay Lee

School Climate Specialist

Lindsay Lee is a School Climate Specialist for Safe, Healthy, and Supportive Schools at First District RESA. She facilitates improved quality and character of school life for sixteen school districts in rural southern Georgia. Lindsay obtained her bachelor’s and master’s degrees in Special Education from Georgia Southern University. She was a student intern for Coastal GLRS at FDRESA during her undergraduate time at Georgia Southern. After graduation, Lindsay worked full time as a Program Assistant for one year. Her role at GLRS evolved into an Education Research Consultant from 2018-2021.

 

She is a certified trainer in Check & Connect, Restorative Practices & Conferences, Nonviolent Crisis Intervention with a focus in trauma, and holds certification as a Trauma Skilled Specialist. Since July 2021, Lindsay has joined the Safe, Healthy and Supportive Schools team. 

She has a passion for helping educators connect to their students and school communities.

Renee Perry

School Climate Specialist

Renee Toole Perry is a School Climate Specialist at First District RESA. She has more than 23 years of experience in education and is a triple Georgia Southern Alumnae. She holds a Georgia’s professional educators certificate in School Counseling and School Psychology and has Student Support Team Coordinator and Gifted endorsements. Renee has worked in Effingham, Emanuel, and Bulloch County Schools as a School Counselor, District Pupil Services and Testing Coordinator, Curriculum and PreK Coordinator, District Lead Counselor, REACH Coordinator, Response to Intervention/Multi-Tiered Systems of Support Coordinator, Student Services Director, and Positive Behavioral Interventions and Supports (PBIS) District Coordinator. 

 

She is certified in Nonviolent Crisis Intervention and Youth Mental Health First Aid, and is a certified trainer in School-wide Information System (SWIS), Sources of Strength, and as a Trauma Skilled Specialist with the National Dropout Prevention Center. She has extensive training in Social and Emotional Learning, Mental Health, 7 Habits of Highly Effective People, and Restorative practices.  

 

Renee has a passion for helping her community and creating a culture of resilient students and adults.
